Not Just Electronic
Russell Davies

The essay 'Not just Electronic' was written by Russell Davies who was one of the first to coin -to his dismay- the term post-digital.
Commissioned by Unfold, Lucas Maassen and MU for the exhibition After the Bit Rush, Design in a Post Digital Age.

Russell was also invited to give a talk on the Playful Post Digital Culture Symposium which touches on many of the topics discussed in his essay. Thought provoking and fun, watch it here.

The essay was lovingly designed and printed on Risograph by HEYHEYHEY. The cover image 'Me as an Apple Computer in 1981' was used with kind permission from James Stan. Read it here.
