A new addition to the
Skafaldo series,
two desk lamps in which 3d scans of glass bubbles are used to
generate algorithmic support structures using Materialise e-Stage.
Each crystal bubble is individually blown and shaped by hand
resulting in a unique result and a bespoke support
structure fitting it as a glove.
