Working on different domains where perfumery can be applied,
Barnabé Fillion explores the limits of the territory, the
different processes of creating and new directions to undergo his
perfumes. For Maison et Objet, he collaborated with different
artists and designers to create a magical world of scents, where
both innovation and tradition play an important role, linking
together nature, art and technology.
Together with Barnabé Fillion and Perla Valtierra, Unfold
created a set of objects that resemble alchemical tools and
utensils to revisit the process of transformation in alchemy. The
three diffusers and different receptacles, both produced using
Unfold's unique
ceramic 3d
print process and the small machine invite people to be
involved in the process, putting a real emphasis on the ritual and
the experience of perfume.
